NCAA factors come from the standardized event-conversion document. Its upward rounding rule applies to those published directions. Facility indexing and altitude adjustments are separate calculations; a converted mark alone does not establish eligibility.
Exact-distance ratios, derived inverse factors, Riegel estimates and coaching adjustments keep their own labels. They are comparisons, not interchangeable official qualifying rules. A formula does not establish that the same athlete can achieve the converted result; verify the governing meet and division requirements.
